Rihanna has recently been the target of some nasty rumors about her out-of-control partying, what with that post-Met Gala hospitalization and all the illicit Coachella photos floating around. Add to that the photo she tweeted of her arm as she received the so-called “party girl drip” and now people are asking about her weight loss. More

How it is that Jenna Lyons‘ get-up to the 2012 Met Gala went pretty much unnoticed until recently, is rather strange. The woman, who has a phenomenal sense of style that is completely her own, should have been photographed just as often as the other designers and celebrities on hand, but she wasn’t. Not cool! More

This picture might just be the single best thing to come out of last night’s

The Met Gala. Normally, it’s the most daring, most elegant, most interesting and capital F Fashion red carpet of them all. This year, it was taken over by a bunch of maniacal stylists looking to make their mark. Our readers have spoken, and it was a shitshow. Let’s make the most of what we got and try to figure out who came out on top. More
Hoooo boy, do we have our work cut out for us. Last night’s Met Gala wasn’t exactly brimming with great dresses, as you may have seen. Here, we have cobbled together a ragtag band of looks that will pass for Best Dressed. You’ll see looks that are halfway there, almost there or just a really flattering color! Ahead, we squeeze water from a stone with Carey Mulligan, Rooney Mara, Marion Cotillard, Cate Blanchett and more.
PS: WHERE ARE YOU WHEN WE NEED YOU TILDA?????? More
As we mentioned in our gigantic Met Gala gallery: the fashion was bad but the beauty fared worse. See unflattering hair and severe makeup on Jessica Biel, Mary-Kate Olsen, Lana Del Rey, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, then cleanse your palette with pretty faces from Diane Kruger, Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard and more. The biggest red carpet event of the year–the 2012 Met Gala–happened last night to celebrate the 0pening of “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations.” Unsurprisingly, old school Prada muses (like Milla Jovovich and Angela Lindvall) came out of the woodwork. As for the fashion? Sparkly, sheer and extremely unflattering were the orders of the day.
…But! Ugly dresses were the least of their problems, because apparently every good makeup artist in New York was off for the night: lots of hair dye experimentations (we hardly recognized you, Jamie King and Jessica Stam), black lipstick (Lana Del Rey, Kate Bosworth, Camilla Belle), harsh brows (Kate Upton) and whatever happened to Mary-Kate Olsen. Look through the gallery and then we must discuss! More
