Have you seen “Actresses Without Teeth?” Right, you’re going to want to. Here’s a pretty good summary of them. People have been talking about how seeing their favorite actresses (like Reese Witherspoon, above) without teeth is horrifying, and I wondered, why? I mean, obviously, nice teeth are important in terms our attraction to someone, but what about this makes it the worst thing you’ve ever seen? Here’s why: More

Newly beloved Jennifer Lawrence has gradually grown on me. At first, I thought she was a bit annoying. Now, I think she has one of the more fun personalities of any actress presently in the spotlight. And that is why these Dior ads are somewhat of a bummer: her personhood does not shine through at all. She seems cold, blank and to be frank, kind of boring. More

What’s more fun than looking inside of other people’s houses? Looking inside the houses of stylish celebrities you still aren’t sure if you like or not. And lucky me, New York Magazine’s May cover spread of Chloë Sevigny‘s adorably outfitted East Village apartment scratches just that very specific itch. Will these photos make me like her less, or more? Well, let’s see. More

For its May cover story, Nylon Magazine features three up-and-coming actresses (L-R): Bella Heathcote, Zoe Kravitz, and Juno Temple. Comedienne Jenny Slate is pretty much a professional cuteness incubator at this point. Her comedic persona is a delightful mixture of cuteness and raunch (without the grating try-hardy-ness of Sarah Silverman), and her much discussed animated short Marcel The Shell With Shoes On pretty much shot her into the cuteness stratosphere. It comes as no surprise, then, that Bass Hearts Rachel Antonoff (a collaboration, yes, between Bass and Rachel Antonoff) would tap her to put their shoes on for their spring 2012 lookbook. I dare you to feel anything but childlike whimsy towards these photos. More

Angelina Jolie is on the cover of January’s Marie Claire looking as radiant as ever, and there are a whole lot more pretty pictures inside. What does she talk about in the article? Oh, lots of things. Her directorial debut In The Land Of Blood And Honey, social justice, not having very many friends, and wanting to move away from acting. The article is full of interesting stuff; here are eight choice quotes, plus all the photos from the editorial. More

Did you hear this one? Rumors are circulating that an adaptation of Candace Bushnell’s prequel novels to Sex and the City–The Carrie Diaries and Summer in the City–are in the works. No, the prequel won’t star the original ladies as heavily CGI-ed versions of themselves but rather some of Hollywood’s young starlets of the moment: Blake Lively as Samantha, Elizabeth Olsen as Carrie, Emma Roberts as Miranda, and Selena Gomez as Charlotte.
