Actors, singers and comedians alike all turned out on the red carpet for GQ‘s Men Of The Year Awards 2013. It was presumably the hottest day of the year because everybody looked…well, a little exposed. From Emma Watson to Alexa Chung to Jourdan Dunn, there were gorgeous women in beautiful outfits. Beautiful, cropped, tubed-out outfits.

Did you know that conventionally beautiful women occasionally suffer from poor eyesight? They might even wear glasses sometimes–in public, too, and not just in the shameful darkness of their basements. Victoria’s Secret angel Erin Heatherton had the audacity to wear hers out in Sydney last night.
Astonishingly, this is a news. story. Which is absurd for at least
two two hundred reasons–not the least of which is glasses make people look hot. Both sexes. Are some people unaware of that?
Anyway, in the interest of reminding everyone that 1) hot people sometimes wear glasses and 2) glasses can even make them extra hot, here is a gallery of conventionally beautiful women brave enough to wear them. More

While we are enthusiastically grateful when any famous model (former or otherwise) steps up to say something frank about the modeling industry, we still don’t think “style icon” is a legitimate occupation. More
Last night in NYC, costume designer Catherine Martin and Miuccia Prada threw a huge splashy star (and fashion people)-studded cocktail party to celebrate Prada’s contributions to the upcoming Baz Luhrmann joint, The Great Gatsby. So, so many fancy people were there, including Gatsby stars Carey Mulligan and Isla Fisher, along with Katy Perry, Florence Welch, Alexa Chung, Maggie Gyllenhaal and many more. More
Last night, Chanel threw a big splashy party in honor of the Tribeca Film Festival–the Chanel TriBeCa Film Festival “Artists Dinner,” specifically–and it was attended by a bunch of legitimately famous actresses/fashion people and also a bunch of people famous for going to things like Chanel parties.
Guess who’s who and see what they wore, ahead. More
Don’t tell anyone I told you this, but “beauty” stories can be kind of boring sometimes. I mean, how many different ways are there to tell someone to put their hair up in a ponytail, along with step-by-step instructions no one is ever going to follow because we all know how to put our hair in ponytails already? Then again, many beauty stories are really just an excuse to look at models looking beautiful, which depending on your outlook, you either find more or less fun than learning how to capture said beauty for yourself. Case in point: in an effort to keep their May beauty story lively, Marie Claire UK enlisted fashion plate/TV presenter/”cookie cutter hipster” Alexa Chung, ostensibly to illustrate the various “beauty techniques” they recommend, but really so we could all gaze upon close-ups of her stupid sexy face. Don’t believe me? Look at how basic all of these “tips” are. More
Last night saw the 48th Annual ACM Awards, drawing country music stars from all over–Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and even Dog the Bounty Hunter. Here’s all the embellished metallic dresses from last night’s red carpet, dresses that are now sitting in dry cleaners throughout the greater Los Angeles area, waiting to have all that the fake tanner removed. For the past few years, my hair and I have been engaged in a viciously boring cycle, and it goes a little something like this: hair gets too long, cut it a little. Bangs get too long, cut them a little. That is it. That’s the whole thing. Exciting, I know. More
