Hereâs A Lovely Message From Amy Poehler To All The Bad Dancers Out There

As always, Amy Poehler continues to deliver valuable advice to middle schoolers through her Ask Amy series that I can apply to my very own life. Also, where was she when I was in middle school? Kids today, they just don’t know how good they have it! They have the amazing and magnificent Amy Poehler answering their questions on a frequent basis, I had AOL chatrooms. One doles out words of wisdom and one taught me that honey is not really vital to mention when cybering. More »

Red Carpet: Awesome People Hung Out With Other Awesome People At The TIME 100 Gala

Red Carpet: Awesome People Hung Out With Other Awesome People At The TIME 100 Gala

I’m typically not a celeb-envier; all the cameras, attention, rumors and stress sound…well, stressful. But when I see photos of awesome people geting together at the TIME 100 Gala last night and hanging out like it ain’t no thang, it’s hard not to be jealous. People like Amy Poelher and Jimmy Fallon and Gabrielle Giffords…it’s enough to make me want to invent something awesome, produce a movie starring myself and show up at events in really expensive evening wear (i.e. not Forever 21/H&M, like my usual get-up)…

Out of curiosity, though, who invited Christina Aguilera? More »

Celebrities Who Say They ARE Feminists

Celebrities Who Say They ARE Feminists

Well, Beyonce is kind of a feminist. She’s a “modern day” feminist which is kind of an annoying, hedging term. But still! Kind of! She’s kind of into feminism!

Red Carpet Rundown: Jessica Chastain, Lena Dunham, Amy Poehler & More Attend 2013 Writers Guild Awards

Anyway, famous ladies in dresses stopped by. Let’s see what they wore! More »

Red Carpet Rundown: The 2013 SAG Awards Red Carpet

The Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards if you’re nasty) are nigh. If you like actors congratulating actors for overcoming a bunch of stuff and being actors, then the SAG Awards are for you. And we, The Gloss, are bringing you the red carpet looks in real time(-ish).

As we did with the Golden Globes, we’ll be updating this post with all the pretty, pretty dresses (and hopefully lots of ugly ones) over the next couple hours. More »

Red Carpet Rundown: The Best Dressed At The 70th Annual Golden Globes

Red Carpet Rundown: The Best Dressed At The 70th Annual Golden Globes

The 70th annual Golden Globe Awards took place last night and hopefully you enjoyed our knee jerk reactions to the (mostly boring) red carpet. Unfortunately, there weren’t a lot of stand out looks last night, so consider this best dressed list… graded on a curve.

Still, red carpet reliables like Julianne Moore and Anne Hathaway looked grand, while surprise turns from Olivia Munn, Lucy Liu and Stacy Keibler kept things interesting.

…Mildly, at least. More »
