I was surprised this morning to find the lovely Aimee Mullins featured on Buzzfeed. If you haven’t come across Mullins, she’s an athlete and occasional runway model who was born with missing fibula bones… and for whom Alexander McQueen commissioned a pair of beautifully carved wooden legs. This reminded me that Mullins was recently named a Global Brand Ambassador for L’Oreal, so that may explain a resurgence in interest. Anyway, the Georgetown-educated Mullins is an inspiration to all in addition to being gorgeous, so here’s a little love for her from us as well. More »

Evan’s costumes for the Vancouver Games were designed by Vera Wang. Now, Lysacek and Wang are collaborating on an upcoming menswear line, which Lysacek describes as his “new passion.” More »
