Today, Boston Herald sports columnist Steve Buckley announced in the paper that he’s gay, under the headline “Welcome to my coming-out party.” It’s an awesome column and a great read, with a good mix of humor and reflection on why he waited so long to come out (he originally talked with his mother about doing it seven years ago), and why he chose to do it now.
