Amanda Bynes Is Retweeting Creepy/Awesome Fan Art Of Herself

Amanda Bynes Is Retweeting Creepy/Awesome Fan Art Of Herself

In the midst of all the bad shit going on in the world, it’s nice to know we can still take some comic relief from the antics of unhinged celebrities like Amanda Bynes. For her latest trick, the former child star let loose a barrage of re-tweets of people’s fan art tributes to her, much of which focuses on portraying her as Queen of Everything, and some of which depicts her wedding to future husband and vagina murderer, Drake. One fan even portrayed her as a camel, because why not?

What’s that? Amanda Bynes is a troubled individual whose public struggles with her mental health problems aren’t funny at all? Whatever, Amanda’s twitter feed is hilarious, and her fans are even wackier than she is, and maybe she’s in on the joke. Maybe. In any case, I need this. Happy Friday! More »

My Girl‘s Anna Chlumsky Is All Grown Up

My Girl's Anna Chlumsky Is All Grown Up

Do you guys remember My Girl? That movie was devastating. Macaulay Culkin gets murdered by bees (and not in a delightful way like Nic Cage in The Wicker Man remake). My Girl was one of the first movies we ever saw where a likeable protagonist dies horribly and maybe its willingness to kill an adorable child star explains its strange cultural staying power. Ultimately, Culkin kind of won, though, because he didn’t have to be in the sequel (which replaced him with the kid from Prehysteria!). ANYWAY. More »

You may have heard Lindsay Lohan is staging another comeback! She’s hosting SNL this weekend and her publicist even forced a talk show host to pitch some softballs during her repentance tour. Anyway, we noticed this recent portrait (above) by Terry Richardson and it inspired us to celebrate the troubled actress’ return with a little tribute to her signature pose: sticking her fingers in her mouth. We’re not sure if this is an honest-to-god nervous tick or proof of child stardom’s corruption of the brain, but we do know this: it happens a lot. More »

Gallery: Chloe Moretz Goes Full Rapunzel For Jalouse Magazine

14-year-old actress Chloe Moretz is a budding clothes horse and the French love attractive children almost as much as they love eating cheese, so it comes as no surprise that Moretz landed the cover story in the December/January issue of French fashion mag Jalouse. In contrast to her ethereal Love cover, which presented her as a crying child, Jalouse clearly directed her to mimic grown-up fashion models, as seen in the classic “empty stomach” pose she’s doing on the cover. They also put a bunch of Rapunzel-esque extensions in her hair, because kids love fairy tales. Click through for the full editorial. More »

Gallery: The Fanning Sisters Dress Up Like Grown Women For W

For its December issue, W Magazine went full Fanning with a huge spread featuring the creepily precocious blonde sisters, as well as an interview with them by the world’s most notorious hit piece writer, Lynn Hirschberg. Mercifully, she spares them the truffle fry treatment, but she does ask a question that unintentionally reveals herself to be a horrible, horrible sister.

Unrelated: doesn’t Elle Fanning’s version of “Blue Steel” look like it should be re-named “The Bad Seed“? I think this every time I see a picture of her in which she’s not smiling. Which is most of them. More »
