Awards season is in full swing–since last month’s star-studded Hollywood Film Awards, it seems like a red carpet gets rolled out every night. We’re up to our ears in awards ceremonies, premieres, tributes, galas and evenings honoring someone.
Last night, in particular, drew out stars like Natalie Portman, Jessica Chastain, and Elizabeth Olsen, not to mention top models like Candice Swanepoel, Coco Rocha, and Daria Strokous. Let’s see what they wore… More
This weekend, the London Film Festival closed with a glittery red carpet in honor of Saving Mr Banks. As we’ve noted many, many times before, we–like the rest of the internet–think Jennifer Lawrence is great. Really, really great! But today, on the occasion of Paris Couture Week’s kick off, we do not like her stylist. Rather, we do … More
The Cannes Film Festival ended this weekend (but you were probably BBQ-drunk and binge-watching Arrested Development, yes?). While we love the festival for its reliably risky, glamorous and often downright weird red carpet (see above), all good things must come to an end. Here’s the last of the photocalls, the premieres, and looks from the star-studded Closing Ceremony. More
Not only is this fitted, subtly flared tea length frock (from Raf Simons‘ Spring 2013 collection for Christian Dior) an absolutely spectacular cut on her, she also had the good sense to let all the twinkling embroidery speak for itself and didn’t overdo it on the hair and makeup. More
