Did you read that article about the magazine editor (Judith Griggs) who stole a blogger’s article for her magazine? And then when the blogger asked her what happened, and suggested a donation to her journalism school, Judith Griggs told her that the entire web was public domain, and that the blogger should pay her for editing it? And this exchange ended up on Gawker maybe five minute later? Jesus Christ, this is why print will die. Not because the web is public domain. Because the olds no longer understand how the world works.
