After receiving a diagnosis of 2A Hodgkins disease in 2007, Emme retired from her career to focus on battling cancer, but now she’s back with a clean bill of health and a renewed sense of purpose: she wants to encourage student designers to step out of their “straight-size only” comfort zones and begin creating clothes for curvy women.
