CNN reports that blogger Abdel Kareem Nabil, who was imprisoned for four years in Egypt because of his writing, has been released from prison.

According to the article, Nabil was “convicted and imprisoned by Egypt for ‘spreading information disruptive of public order and damaging to the country’s reputation,’ ‘incitement to hate Islam’ and ‘defaming the president of the republic.’” More »
