The show Fairly Legal opens with the heroine, Kate, stumbling out of her houseboat and dodging repeated calls from someone labled “The Wicked Witch of the West.” We soon find out it’s her stepmother, a realization that’s set off with more calls accented by pictures of the Wicked Witch of the West, which beg the question “who does that? I’m really confused that the girl on that new law show “Fairly Legal” is walking around in Louboutins when she could be wearing these. I guess that’s because she’s a mediator and only real lawyers can break out these babies with the right sense of winking acknowledgement about their station in life.
