Nobody should be shooting at anybody over pictures of a supermodel in a wedding dress. More

Earlier today, fashion photographer Bruce Weber revealed that the only model he’s ever kicked off set was (his now-friend) Cindy Crawford–the two were working on a Revlon shoot back in the day and apparently the young supermodel was so rude to the crew that Weber lost his temper and sent her home. Crawford in her ’90s heyday could get away with just about anything, though, so the ejection probably came as a cruel surprise.
Of course, this one little anecdote doesn’t qualify Crawford for the pantheon of models with legendarily bad attitudes–the phone-throwing, trash-talking, always late to everything supermodels like the ones below. More

Everyone has that insufferable friend on Instagram who’s constantly posting photos of himself or herself, often with a million hashtags, always with a pout. Occasionally, the selfie is ostensibly about something else–maybe “hair” like Miley Cyrus below–other times, they’re just pure, unadulterated vanity presented without apology or explanation. Oh, and sometimes that obnoxious Instagram person you follow just so happens to be famous.
Here are 20 fashion industry luminaries who love their own reflection and the various ways in which that manifests. More
The modeling industry is one place where women completely dominate. Sure, that’s hugely problematic if you’re looking for anything positive from a women’s rights perspective but, for better or for worse, women completely dominate when it comes to getting paid for how they look. Or, as Forbes recently put it in their Top Earning Male Models list, ”[it's] a career that is neither easy nor lucrative for men.” More
As far as supermodels turned singers go, we’d rank it somewhere in the neighborhood of Tyra Banks, but less self-serving. More
What a waste of money! More
This non-controversy will go away soon and Gisele will continue to be a rich, famous supermodel completely unconcerned with how people on Twitter feel about her parenting skills.
For Vogue Italia‘s June 2013 Health & Beauty issue, Gisele Bundchen and Steven Meisel teamed up to create a gorgeous cover — but that’s not actually the story here. In fact, it is actually the shoot’s behind-the-scenes video that’s making folks wonder whether or not the pair is poking fun at other celebrities. More
Since Gisele is a supermodel–and supermodels get even more famous if they drop the baby weight in zero minutes–she is posing with toned, sweaty stomach exposed. She was shot by Mario Testino, of course. More
i-D Magazine must not be among the fashion glossies hurting for funds. For their fall “Role Model” issue, i-D shot sixteen very impressive covers featuring a mixture of supermodels like Linda Evangelista and Gisele Bundchen, and up-and-comers like Jourdan Dunn and Kolfinna Kristófersdóttir. Stylistically, the covers are fairly diverse; some are in color, some in black and white, and some are styled in an ultra-modern way while others are more retro. But in each one, the model is hiding one of her eyes, which creates a nice common thread. Here are all them. More
Tom Brady plays football but the fashion industry has decided he’s just too beautiful for all that pummeling and grunting, so they’ve bestowed upon him a nebulous career in being handsome. Thus, here is Tom Brady wearing a Givenchy suit on the cover of V, photographed by Mario Testino, styled by Carine Roitfeld and interviewed by Tom Ford himself (the full-court press). The New England Patriots’ quarterback and husband to Gisele Bundchen probably said some pleasant things in that interview, but it’s Ford who says all the interesting stuff. More
Although she has yet to publicly announce it, it’s become fairly clear as of late that supermodel Gisele Bundchen is currently pregnant with her second child. Either that, or she’s getting fat in a weird way (yeah right). But because she is Gisele, magazines still want her to model ugly polka dot clothing for them, so stylists must find creative ways to hide her tiny fetus when dressing her for shoots. Case in point: the July issue of Vogue Brazil, for which Gisele returned to her native country for a garish “street art” themed cover shoot. She might not have been showing much yet when they shot it, but I’m guessing she didn’t want to take any chances. Come to think of it, the tummy-hiding might actually be the most tasteful thing about this editorial. More
Gisele Bundchen is “perfect” and here she is with some free weights. That’s all of our do-gooding until next year, folks. More
