i-D Magazine must not be among the fashion glossies hurting for funds. For their fall “Role Model” issue, i-D shot sixteen very impressive covers featuring a mixture of supermodels like Linda Evangelista and Gisele Bundchen, and up-and-comers like Jourdan Dunn and Kolfinna KristĂłfersdĂłttir. Stylistically, the covers are fairly diverse; some are in color, some in black and white, and some are styled in an ultra-modern way while others are more retro. Whether it’s guest designing multiple collections for an established brand (Kate Moss), shoes (Gisele), jewelry (Heidi Klum), or swimsuits (Kate Upton): you have no choice. Basically, if you are paid to be photogenic and leggy, soon you will be paid to approve of designs conceived by some anonymous, beleaguered assistant. Maybe. More »
