Cate Blanchett’s Awesome Spider Web Dress Ain’t No ‘Fashion Misstep’

Cate Blanchett's Awesome Spider Web Dress Ain't No 'Fashion Misstep'

Cate Blanchett is a classy lady who pretty much always looks awesome on the red carpet. It might be my love of retro fashions, my previously discussed latent Gothic tendencies, or the fact that it’s currently en vogue to dress like you know how to put spells on people, but I think the right cape can look pretty cool on anyone willing to take a small risk. Plus, it’s one of those rare trends that’s also functional…assuming your cape has arm holes, anyway. But which cape should you buy, and what should you wear it with? As easy as it would be to just say “all of them” and “everything,” here are 11 concrete suggestions to get the swooshy cape party started. More »
