If you saw Gwyneth Paltrow looking all smiley in her pink frock at the Met Ball and thought, “she looks like she is having fun with all of her famous friends,” think again. Gwyneth Paltrow absolutely did not have fun at the Met Ball. Did you hear me? NO FUN WHATSOEVER. More
It’s time, everyone. The 2013 Met Gala–or, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala, if you’re nasty–is upon us. While we have really, really mixed feelings about this year’s theme–Punk: Chaos to Couture–and we know most of the attendees are nervous about committing (despite our helpful styling suggestions!) this is still the biggest red carpet event of the year. Expect one or two unforgettable looks, lots of playing it safe, some real style, some real glamour and, hopefully, a whole lot of beautiful disasters.
So, per usual, we’ll be updating live throughout the red carpet. Come back and refresh often–expect new looks here every few minutes!

If you can believe it, Gwyneth Paltrow’s no underwear controversy only started yesterday. I know, it feels like we’ve been investigating the World’s Most Beautiful Woman’s “side butt” for months. Thankfully, Gwyneth is making the rounds on talk shows this week, and she made it to The Ellen DeGeneres Show just in time for Ellen to turn on her Celebrity Confession Vacuum and suck an explanation out of her. Since Ellen is also having a great week, watching these two in the same room is like staring into the face of awesome. What ensues is just as entertaining as you’d expect. More
It’s a Gwyneth Paltrow extravaganza lately! She’s got a new cookbook to promote (the recipes of which involve no food), she’s got a lot of food not to eat, she’s got to talk about how all the foods she’s not eating saved her marriage and… Iron Man 3 just came out, so she has to show up on red carpets with really shiny hair, which is something she does quite well. Perhaps all that not eating results in shiny hair? Maybe she is dying. More
Gwyneth Paltrow is hitting the promotional trail really hard for her latest cookbook–a collection of recipes not featuring food–and her latest stop is the cover of People magazine’s Most Beautiful issue. We’re not saying Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t very beautiful, we’re just saying these things are especially hard to take seriously when the person on the cover has something to peddle. More
Gather round ye faithful, for the time has come once again to ruminate on which celebrities made Star Magazine’s extremely competitive “Most Hated Celebrities In Hollywood” list this year. Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the most reviled of them all? More

Despite all the flack Gwyneth Paltrow has been getting lately for calling half a million dollars in clothing “essential,” barely feeding her family and releasing a cookbook that essentially makes air waffles and twig muffins, I have a feeling she is doing just fine. Her book, titled with gross inaccuracy as It’s All Good, is already selling incredibly well, and she’s still famous and attractive and rich. Therefore, I do not feel all that bad pointing out that the outfit she wore to a book signing at Williams-Sonoma was terrible. More
Last week, we learned some very interesting things about It’s All Good, the new “elimination diet” cookbook from GOOP leader Gwyneth Paltrow. Namely, we learned that it eliminates food.
Here’s a quick list of ingredients you won’t be using when cooking like Gwyneth Paltrow: coffee, alcohol, dairy, chicken eggs (more exclusive eggs are fine), sugar, shellfish, deepwater fish, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, corn, wheat, meat, soy and all processed foods. If this seems a bit draconian (or an obvious symptom of “laughable Hollywood neuroticism“)–you’re right. But nobody said it was easy being Gwyneth Paltrow. Well, maybe they did.
Anyway, the cookbook has been backordered everywhere and Paltrow’s publisher anticipates a big success, which is why we’re extremely pleased to bring you these eight healthful and delicious recipes from It’s All Good–exclusively on The Gloss. Enjoy! More
Actress, lifestyle expert and GOOP person Gwyneth Paltrow is currently on promotional detail for her new “elimination diet” cookbook, It’s All Good, which features recipes that feature very little. In fact, it’s kind of a 180 from her domestic goddess wish fulfillment debut, My Father’s Daughter, a book of three-car-garage-homestyle recipes like chicken and dumplings or stuffed avocados (well, stuffed with veganaise). More
She was inspired to write the cookbook when Dame Margaret Smith, William Joel and Mario Batali were over for a quiet dinner party and Paltrow was a little loaded from the ’78 Montrachet and accidentally stuffed the poulet de bressewith caviar instead of arranging it on the caviar plate where it belonged HA! HA!
And that’s when she realized she should eat more brown rice and less everything else. More
So it’s year end wrap-up time and this time we need to be really frank: 2012 wasn’t exactly a banner year for red carpet dressing. More
