Do you guys remember My Girl? That movie was devastating. Macaulay Culkin gets murdered by bees (and not in a delightful way like Nic Cage in The Wicker Man remake). My Girl was one of the first movies we ever saw where a likeable protagonist dies horribly and maybe its willingness to kill an adorable child star explains its strange cultural staying power.
