Awards season is in full swing–since last month’s star-studded Hollywood Film Awards, it seems like a red carpet gets rolled out every night. We’re up to our ears in awards ceremonies, premieres, tributes, galas and evenings honoring someone.
Last night, in particular, drew out stars like Natalie Portman, Jessica Chastain, and Elizabeth Olsen, not to mention top models like Candice Swanepoel, Coco Rocha, and Daria Strokous. Let’s see what they wore… More
Last night, the Museum of Modern Art hosted a tribute to Tilda Swinton in New York City which, predictably, lured out some of the city’s more fashionable denizens, including Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, Alexa Chung, Jessica Biel, Karlie Kloss and more.
Here’s what they work, ranked on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being Most Tilda). More
Chanel‘s traveling exhibition, The Little Black Jacket, touched down in Brazil for its Sao Paulo leg last night, luring out a laundry list of extremely stylish celebrities–Diane Kruger, MIA, Carine Roitfeld–some “muses” and an endless train of Brazilian supermodels (the pluckiest kind). See what they wore–basically all Chanel, but still–ahead… More
We aren’t the only ones tired of Karl Lagerfeld‘s schtick. More
Blake Lively, as an actress, hasn’t been seen around these parts lately–her last big movie, Green Lantern, came out in 2011 (and grossed about half its budget). Since then, Lively’s kept things pretty low-key (despite marrying Ryan Reynolds), hanging out in upstate New York, and continuing to not use a stylist.
In fact, in the past year she’s done little more than threaten to launch a “lifestyle brand” and corresponding newsletter, just like everyone’s other favorite lifestyle brand/newsletter, GOOP. And also give the occasional interview about fancy ovens. More

Carine Roitfeld is the epitome of Parisian style, even if neither she nor we know what that means. But when she’s dispensing style tips, who cares? More
We supposed it started with the Met Gala. Then that L’Officiel cover with Kane West where the couple appeared to be having sex. Now, Kim Kardashian‘s weird, inexplicably effective circling of high fashion’s periphery has brought her to the cover of CR Fashion Book, the fancy collectable high fashion bible from Carine Roitfeld. If this isn’t a sign of
the fashion industry’s shameful lack of originality Kim’s unexpected versatility, nothing is. More
Karl Lagerfeld, half diabolical bond villain, half talented fashion goblin, has been known to be highly critical of women’s bodies to a twisted, embarrassing and nearly pathological degree. He doesn’t care who a celebrity woman is, he will find a way to criticize her. Lagerfeld famously claimed Adele was too fat as if he was helping her out. Considering Lagerfeld’s impressive resume of female body criticism, it’s no wonder that even his compliments smack of cruelty. One of the kinder things I’ve heard he said turned out to actually be a warning for one model to not fuck her shit up. More
She’s since ditched the (pointlessly) controversial style and Parade magazine asked her why because that is the reason Parade magazine exists. More
