Last night, Glamour‘s 23rd annual Women of the Year Awards took place in New York, drawing out some famous women from rather disparate industries: from the show business side came Lady Gaga, Lena Dunham, and Lily Collins; from fashion, models like Karlie Kloss and Coco Rocha; from activism, Liya Kebede and Malala Yousafzai. Here’s the red carpet. More

On the red carpet for Flaunt Magazine’s celebration of its November issue, Selena Gomez, Lydia Hearst, Lily Collins and more showed up looking like bombshells. More
Lily Collins is relatively new as far as red carpet fixtures go, but she’s already established herself as a “risk taker,” someone who is “fashion forward,” and a little “daring.” We’re not always sure what people mean when they use … More

Last night, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones premiered in Berlin, Germany at the Sony Centre. Despite primarily choosing neutral tones for their red carpet wear, the cast — including stars like Kevin Zegers, Lily Collins, Robert Sheehan and many more — all looked super snazzy for the evening.
Plus, Collins did the impossible. (Or kind of possible.) More
LEATHER. SWEAT. PANTS. More
Earlier this week, Lily Collins stopped by the premiere of her new movie, The Mortal Instruments, wearing yet another cutout dress. Having covered so many examples of the remarkably banal trend, we finally just got sick of it all and declared them dumb. Or at least, frequently in very poor taste–they’re extremely popular with unapologetic fameballs for a reason.
Thus, we were inspired to wrangle up a collection of our least favorites, from recent disasters to some classic all-time worsts. Enjoy? More
Lily Collins, haver of a pristine face and good connections, stopped by the premiere of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones last night. We were going to Google “mortal instruments” and do two minutes of rote research so we could tell you what it’s about, but the first thing we saw was “high warlock of Brooklyn” and then we couldn’t read anymore because our eyes were spraying blood. The Teen Choice Awards are usually the only red carpet with enough bright, bold mini-skirts to rival an MTV awards show–last night at the 2013 ceremony, however, the Teen Choice Awards red carpet was wall to wall fashion disasters. Pretty much everything bombed. Spectacularly.

It’s time, everyone. The 2013 Met Gala–or, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala, if you’re nasty–is upon us. While we have really, really mixed feelings about this year’s theme–Punk: Chaos to Couture–and we know most of the attendees are nervous about committing (despite our helpful styling suggestions!) this is still the biggest red carpet event of the year. Expect one or two unforgettable looks, lots of playing it safe, some real style, some real glamour and, hopefully, a whole lot of beautiful disasters.
So, per usual, we’ll be updating live throughout the red carpet. Come back and refresh often–expect new looks here every few minutes!

The British Fashion Awards took place last night and the big winners were Stella McCartney (Designer Brand Award, Designer of the Year), Cara Delevingne (Model Award) and Alexa Chung (British Style Award, three years running). Here’s the model-studded red carpet, featuring them and many more. More
