Terry Richardson does one thing now: he feeds simple carbohydrates to spectacular-looking women in designer clothes under harsh lights. That’s his shtick. His latest subject is Lindsey Wixson, who he shot with greasy french fries and ketchup for Purple‘s Fall 2011 issue. Richardson previously shot Wixson with a mountain of repulsive-looking spaghetti for Vogue Nippon. Oh, and he photographed Crystal Renn eating spaghetti in a disgusting manner for French Vogue. …And Natasha Poly horking cupcakes and chicken wings for French Vogue, too. Recently, we spotted Lindsey Wixson in a Terry Richardon-shot editorial slurping some really gross-looking spaghetti. We (and a bunch of other blogs written by people with memories) pointed out that Richardson did the same with Crystal Renn in French Vogue. Teenage top model Lindsey Wixson stars in “Spaghetti Western,” a cowboy-ish themed editorial from Vogue Nippon’s June issue shot by Terry Richardson. Wixson hangs out in various tourist locations around Rome (Trevi fountain! St. Peter’s Basilica!) wearing clashing Western wear. Richardon adds that special gross touch (see the spaghetti eating above). The shoot was styled by George Cortina and features much Cavalli and corsetry. More »

We try to share as many cool, current editorials as we can, but when it rains it pours: I was collecting spreads to post this past week and became completely overwhelmed by the amount of fantastic, striking, memorable work from (unsurprisingly) majors like Meisel and Sasha P. Some really cool things of late have included the surprise appearance of a Rayder sister (Missy!), a gorgeous Italian Vogue Beauty spread starring Magdalena and two rising star turns from newcomer Regina Feoktistova.
