It’s been a while in Internet time since we’ve had any new photos of Kate Middleton to scrutinize. I was beginning to worry something was wrong–did our gentle razzing of her and Will’s matchy-matchy sweater ensemble upset her?–but now I’m thinking she was refraining from public appearances until the whole “riot” thingy was over.

Will and Kate emerged from their titanium space cave this week to visit victims of the London riots, and she looked pretty great in military inspired McQueen.
