Following her “comeback story” in Interview, it seems like Agyness Deyn is quickly re-saturating the media market, and I’m not mad at it. Why do I like her? Well, she’s super cute, she’s got personality (or at least she appears to; I don’t actually know her), she knows her way around a New Wave song, and she hasn’t said anything too asinine to the press. A few days ago, we saw the first ad for the Alexander Wang Spring 2013 collection (above). It featured (the truly great, truly beautiful) Polish model Malgosia Bela and, strikingly, no clothing whatsoever. Why, we fashion bloggers wondered, would a fashion campaign feature no fashion? This was all starting to seem a little masturbatory for us, but then the rest of the campaign dropped and… it’s pretty great!

Steven Klein shot the set, in which Bela is styled (by Patti Wilson) like a futuristic warrior but also haunted cave woman? We don’t know.  And, yes, there are clothes.
