It’s time, everyone. The 2013 Met Gala–or, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala, if you’re nasty–is upon us. While we have really, really mixed feelings about this year’s theme–Punk: Chaos to Couture–and we know most of the attendees are nervous about committing (despite our helpful styling suggestions!) this is still the biggest red carpet event of the year. Expect one or two unforgettable looks, lots of playing it safe, some real style, some real glamour and, hopefully, a whole lot of beautiful disasters.

The SAG Awards are tonight. There’ll be all the usual coverage here on The Gloss but since actors fucking love being actors (and celebrating their actorliness), a whole bunch of them have turned up at pre-parties.
