Over the weekend, while promoting The Hunger Games: Catching Fire at Comic Con, Jennifer Lawrence broke out of her Dior habit and tried a Proenza Schouler crop top. More

Helen Mirren is one of the most wonderful people to have on your red carpet. Why? Because she truly dazzles, lighting up the floor and room in every way. More
I am an unabashed fan of (almost) all things one-piece. From jumpsuits at work to strange backward rompers to simple black and white pieces, I think combining your top and bottom into one garment can look really wonderful. Last night, both Sarah Jessica Parker and Vanessa Hudgens opted for evening jumpsuits on the red carpet. Both looked great, in my opinion, but whose worked best? More
The 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards were held last night in Toronto, Canada at the Bell Media Headquarters. There were some winners, some losers and a seriously excellent dance number by MMVAs host Psy to “Single Ladies.”
As with all awards shows, however, we’re primarily concerned with the red carpet fashion, where our own victorious favorites are declared, as well as the stylistically defeated. There were plenty of famous faces there, from Taylor Swift to Demi Lovato, Lucy Hale to Big Sean, Armin van Buure to…a band of mermaids? So, uh, let’s dive right in, shall we? More
It’s going to be 3-D jeweled appliqué nail art inspired by the couture collections. More
There is not a single original or interesting idea at play here; it is completely one note, literal, over-the-top and accomplishes a single thing: it reminds people that under this poor excuse for a dress, the wearer happens to be very naked. More
Today’s Cannes Film Festival red carpet roundup features the Weekend of a Champion, All Is Lost and Only God Forgives premieres–expect intricate beading, embellishment, some top fashion models and a whole lot of sparkle.
As in, multiple disco ball dresses. More
Last night, the Olivier Awards took place in London to celebrate excellence in professional theater. As one might expect, an awards show that rewards performers for merit onstage (as opposed to, say, “Best Shirtless Performance”) attracts a more dressed-up crowd with generally lovely style — not a whole lot of cutout dresses or Wonka suits here. As a result, the red carpet was just so much less offensive than usual.
But then…Helen Mirren. Helen Mirren, Helen Mirren, Helen Mirren. More
For the past week, the TriBeCa Film Festival has been going strong — and that includes its red carpet. Since famous people love getting themselves all sorts of dressed up for any event they will likely be photographed at, the festival’s red carpet held plenty of lovely, weird and fantastic looks. Naturally, there are a couple rather awful ones, but we’ll let you judge that for yourself… More
Zac Posen has seriously gone and designed a dress made out of real, honest-to-god 24-karat gold, and it’s every bit as vampy and shiny as you’d expect. More
How hot is Rosario Dawson? Very hot? Or stupid hot? More
The beautiful Emilia Clarke stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, presumably to pimp the latest season of Game of Thrones (which the entire western TV-watching world suddenly likes, in unison). We’re sure they talked about Daenerys Targaryen’s story line and what to expect this season and how the dragons are going to be just fine and we don’t need to worry about it and all that, but we don’t know because we can never get past the photos. Yes, Emilia Clarke is ridiculously good-looking.
…Even when she’s a little bit washed out. More
It feels more than appropriate that a Victoria’s Secret angel would take a dress with sheer panels on the side and determine it still needed side and underboob. More
That moment you’ve all (maybe) been waiting for is nearly upon us. No, I don’t mean Game of Thrones, silly – I’m talking about season 6 of Mad Men. But before us normal people get a chance to see the show, there was a snazzy red carpet premiere over at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles because television people like to do those, too.
As one might have guessed, everybody looked sufficiently classed up in that people who are in Mad Men are expected to. However, it seems as though they may have caught the same “tastefully boring” disease that Ashley revealed of the Game of Thrones red carpet. More
