Heroin Chic Is Back!

Heroin Chic Is Back!

Hedi Slimane never met a tired idea he didn’t like–sure, we were surprised when he changed YSL’s name to Saint Laurent Paris–but he’s yet to send a single new concept down the Saint Laurent runway. Goth boho? Grunge? The campaigns have been similarly reliant on the appeal of other people (“cool, alt musicians”). Last of all, he’s taken to pricing things with a goddamn roulette wheel.

Naturally, the fashion world salivates over his every move. More »

Your Second Look At H&M’s Versace Campaign

Your Second Look At H&M's Versace Campaign

A week ago, we posted the first campaign images for the hotly anticipated collaboration between Versace and H&M, featuring current runway darlings Daphne Groeneveld, a heavily retouched Lindsey Wixson and a curiously unrecognizable Sasha Pivovarova (who’s doing more of a bombshell thing lately anyway). Now we have another image–featuring Daphne and her unmistakeable, exaggerated features–in a fringed heart-print cocktail dress and toting what will surely be some very sold-out studded handbags. Supermodel Sasha Pivovarova Plays A Bombshell On Her First French Vogue Cover

Supermodel Sasha Pivovarova Plays A Bombshell On Her First French Vogue Cover

Who Does Sasha Pivovarova Look Like?

Who Does Sasha Pivovarova Look Like?

First of all, every time I see a new editorial starring Sasha P is a nice time I see a new editorial. She is awesome. And she’s got herself a girl-only spread in April’s Vogue Korea, shot by Nino Muñoz and styled by Ye Young Kim. However, since a supermodel getting her photo taken in a fashion editorial is not exactly thrilling and unusual, I want to say I’m sharing because I’m curious: More »

Editorial Round-Up: Our Favorite Spreads Of The Moment

Editorial Round-Up: Our Favorite Spreads Of The Moment

We try to share as many cool, current editorials as we can, but when it rains it pours: I was collecting spreads to post this past week and became completely overwhelmed by the amount of fantastic, striking, memorable work from (unsurprisingly) majors like Meisel and Sasha P. Some really cool things of late have included the surprise appearance of a Rayder sister (Missy!), a gorgeous Italian Vogue Beauty spread starring Magdalena and two rising star turns from newcomer Regina Feoktistova. Check out the stable of great shots from recent weeks in the gallery. More »
