A few weeks ago, I realized I hadn’t taken a proper vacation since joining TheGloss back in October. As much as I love New York City, it has a way of tiring you out and that’s as much as I’ll say about that. I figured it might be a cool opportunity to take a train to Montreal for the long weekend, as I’d never been to Canada, the exchange rate was painless and I heard Canadians are like people, but nice. I also figured this would be an excellent excuse to visit The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, a career retrospective of haute couture’s most beloved enfant terrible, showing at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
