Dita Von Teese glammed up the red carpet at MOCA’s 35th anniversary celebration this weekend in Los Angeles with a lilac gown that somehow left little to the imagination but didn’t even come close to tacky. Boobs for everyone, I always say. More

The signs are everywhere: birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, the days are (almost) sunny (sometimes). It seems that spring is fully upon us, Glossers! But does your wardrobe reflect that yet? While the colors, textures and beauty of the … More
The weather is getting warmer and the sun is coming out (finally)! This means that all those pretty, bold lip colors you keep seeing pop up on your favorite beauty sites — which we are at the top of, amirite? — are finally going to be appropriate, as they work particularly well with the hues of spring and summer presently flooding the racks. So the day before yesterday was the first warm day of the year in New York City. It was in the 70s! Many women (self included) celebrated by putting on their beloved summer clothes that had been sitting in the back of their closets all winter and reveling in the feeling of sun finally touching their pale, light-deprived bodies. It’s officially spring, y’all! Birds are chirping, buds are opening, and today was the very first day this year I ventured outside without any fabric covering my legs. (The bottom two-thirds, anyway; it’s not leotard weather yet.) And it will grow even springier next month, which magazines shall celebrate with various spring-themed spreads! As a sucker for both spring and flowers, I do not tire of these kinds of photos, especially when they feature cool people like Karen Elson. She’s best known outside the fashion world as Jack White‘s ex-wife, but she’s also a musician in her own right, as well as a great model who’s been working in the industry for some time. And age 34, she’s getting more work than ever. This is hardly over the hill, but it’s still nice to see in such an age-ist industry. Click through to get psyched for spring by looking at Karen Elson wearing pretty clothes and flowers. More
Spring felt like a long time coming, but the time has finally come to remove your winter gloves and expose your mitts to the world. There’s no better way to wave good-bye to winter and high-five warmer weather than with preciously lacquered hands.
But what color polish will do right by this transition? Deborah Lippmann‘s new collection, Staccato. More
I love how candy shelves look right around Easter. Everything turns to these gorgeous pastel shades all wrapped up in tinted cellophane, and finally, it becomes acceptable to reply “strawberries and cream” when somebody asks what you’re wearing to a party.

It’s springtime, y’all! And you know what that means: time for baby animals, floral print rompers, and ancient fertility rites performed with strangers in the park. More
