Thierry Mugler’s creative director (who is probably much more famous stateside as the Man Who Dresses Lady Gaga) just made a statement he’ll hopefully regret soon to W. Formichetti described styling a rock band and how it was the last time he worked with fat people. He didn’t offer much insight into why working with “three fat guys” was “so ghetto” but apparently it was way less fun and glamorous than working with models and non-fat people. Brace yourselves. Nicola Formichetti’s Thierry Mugler muse Rick Genest–”Zombie Boy” as the fashion press has taken to affectionately nicknaming him–landed an ed (and accompanying cover) in Polish glossy Fashion shot by Mateusz Stankiewicz. Genest is, after all, repped by one of the best of the best agencies (Ford) and the photos are pretty striking… not just on account of his full body ink.
