Following her “comeback story” in Interview, it seems like Agyness Deyn is quickly re-saturating the media market, and I’m not mad at it. Why do I like her? Well, she’s super cute, she’s got personality (or at least she appears to; I don’t actually know her), she knows her way around a New Wave song, and she hasn’t said anything too asinine to the press. Good for her! In the March issue of InStyle UK, Aggy plays up her British-ness with various mod get-ups that are clearly meant to reference her English supermodel foremother Twiggy. You should probably listen to some Brit pop while you look at these photos. More

Happy Thanksgiving eve, everyone. Here’s a bunch of models eating food because we’re lazy and unoriginal. More
Everybody loves it when models dress in costume, whether it’s as industry titans like Karl Lagerfeld, editors, pop stars, politicians or even just other models. In the latest editorial to land online from i-D‘s fall 2011 issue, Australian Abbey Lee Kershaw dons some seriously mod looks by Prada, YSL and more in tribute to the skinny model OG: England’s pixie of one thousand eye lashes, Twiggy. This week, Belarussian blonde Tanya Dziahileva moved agencies to Marilyn in Paris and her new show card reads “Dyagileva.” Not such a change (and still as difficult for us native English speakers to say) but it got us thinking: so many models come from far-off places where surnames have many consonants… while other models just had plain Jane names that needed some punching up. Here’s a list of ladies who changed their names. More
Clue: she grew her hair out long for this Vogue 1974 cover, and does not look amused.

Have you heard that Jennifer Aniston hated her famous ‘Friends’ haircut? That seems silly, because Jennifer Aniston looked great in that hairstyle. Admittedly, she was the only person alive who did look great in it, but it was the hairstyle … More
Yesterday’s Candy magazine shoot featuring drag-versions of US Vogue power duo Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington reminded me of past images wherein models were styled to look like designers (Lagerfeld, of course), editors (Anna) or other major models (Kate! Linda!). Have a look at some of our favorites in the gallery. More
On Friday, Jessica Pauline Ogilvie filed a brief on the sometimes disturbingly hyper-sexual–or at least misleadingly sexually sophisticated–representation of teenage girls in the fashion world. She chose a photo of high schooler Lindsey Wixson pulling down a pair of Wayfarers in standard Lolita-allusion. She could have just as easily linked to this video of Wixson in a revealing cut-out Versace gown, while Donatella herself looks on and coos over Wixson’s “sexy” and “gorgeous” look. More
